First created by Walker Jamar, Jr. in the 1960’s. Walker first started using the exhibit hanging system for his daughter's art collections for school.
1966–1992
During these years, Walker Systems continued to create art display hanging systems and increased the product line to include wall hanging systems to the already current line of exhibit art hanging systems.
1992–2011
Walker Systems transferred ownership for the first time to Jamar Company and the legal name changed to its current name, Walker Display, Inc. There was also a location shift from where the current KBJR news station is at 246 S Lake Ave Duluth, MN 55802 to 6520 Grand Ave in Duluth.
2011–NOW
Walker Display transferred ownership for the second time to Charis Acquisition, Inc. Under new ownership we have updated our technologies to better serve your needs.
A second location shift occurred again to the current location.
